The Enchanted Village

Free for ages 17 and under | In the Museum Theatre

Come inside the Museum to see The Enchanted Village and explore the displays through a captivating game of Seek and Find.
Voluntary donation recommended for adults.

Free of charge at all times | On Sherbrooke Street

You are invited to (re)discover The Mill in the Forest, presented outside the Museum on Sherbrooke Street, at the corner of the Victoria pedestrian street and decorated for the occasion.

Workshop

Àdìrẹ: Dye It Yourself

Everyday from December 20 to January 4 | 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Make your own fashion model with your family, taking inspiration from the designs featured in Africa Fashion. Craft paper garments using àdìrẹ, a traditional Nigerian indigo-resist dyeing technique.

Recommended for children aged 5 and up.

Take part in a captivating game of Seek and find with the whole family. Dive into the observation of Ogilvy's mechanical Christmas window displays and spot the adorable plush characters hiding inside.

A scrumptious family tour!

Explore the exhibition On the Menu while having a blast as a family: this tour includes fun facts about Montreal restaurants, eye-spy games in the galleries, and creative activities. Look for the pig Tire-Bouchon, who’s hiding in the four corners of the exhibition!

Available at the Admissions Desk, while quantities last.
The activity is recommended for children aged 5 to 10 (parents must be present).

The Museum provides a welcoming environment, and a variety of services designed to enhance the experience for families. Amenities include a meal area, a nursing room, self-service lockers, and changing tables, all readily accessible.

SOS Restoration

To ensure the windows continue to inspire wonder in children of yesterday and today, a full restoration is needed: their exterior structure is reaching the end of its lifespan and will need to be restored starting in 2026.

Making a donation to the SOS Restoration campaign directly contributes to preserving one of the last mechanical Christmas windows in North America.
