Family Workshop – Rooted Stories: When Plants Tell the Story of Place

Free activity* | Space limited, no reservations

What if plants had stories to tell? Inspired by the world of Carrie Allison, this family workshop invites you to discover a plant native to Quebec and create its portrait. By observing its shapes, its habitat and its relationships with the living world, participants imagine the stories it might hold.

While creating an original botanical illustration, explore how art, observation and imagination can reveal the many connections that tie us to the land. A creative activity that invites you to see plants in a new light and listen to the stories they have to share.
