Nuit blanche – Imaginary Montreal

Free Activities | Ongoing, no reservation required.

For Nuit blanche, the McCord Stewart Museum invites you to discover an imaginary Montreal, inspired by the exhibition Becoming Montreal: The 1800s Painted by Duncan on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Begin your visit to the Museum by observing artists from Urban Sketchers Montréal at work in the exhibition gallery, before painting your own city dreamscape in a watercolour workshop led by the collective’s artists. Next, enjoy a poetic performance in collaboration with La poésie partout that will transport you to an imagined Montreal.

Explore the Museum at your leisure: all exhibitions will be free!
It’s the perfect opportunity to take a tranquil, artsy break from the hustle and bustle of Nuit blanche à Montréal and Festival MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE.
