About Café Notman
Located in the McCord Stewart Museum, Café Notman officially opened its doors in December 2022 in a brand new decor and a welcoming atmosphere, the fruit of collaboration between the Museum, Aanagram, a studio that specializes in branding and interior design, and the internationally known graphic design and strategy firm Paprika.
In line with its sustainable development policy, the McCord Stewart Museum recycled and reused the material replaced during the renovation of the Café, while following a policy of local procurement. The chairs and light fixtures, designed in Montreal, come respectively from Essai and Luminaires Authentik. Carpenters Échardes & Copeaux and Martine Gougeon modernized the counters.
Diners can also admire a faithful reproduction of the neon sign of the Notman & Sons studio, which used to be installed on Sherbrooke Street West.
