The McCord Stewart Museum is now more than ever grounded in the present, inspired by the desire to tell the story of our people and communities in a critical and inclusive manner. It continues to bring people together so that you, as visitors to the Museum, can explore the issues that matter to you through a contemporary lens.

If the Museum is to continue to inspire visitors, break down cultural barriers and create unique and enriching opportunities for learning and dialogue, we need your support.

As a non-profit private institution, donations allow us to continue our work of preservation, outreach, education and collaborationto bring our stories to life and amplify the voices of historically marginalized communities for the benefit of society and the betterment of all its members.

You are helping us present challenging exhibitions

When you make a donation, you are helping to present exciting photographic exhibitions such as Joannie Lafrenière's Hochelaga - Evolving Montreal, on view until September 10, and exhibitions that capture aspects of Canadian life and Montreal's urban landscape such as Becoming Montreal - The 1800s Painted by Duncan, on view from June 2. When you make a donation, you are helping us host artists in residence, such as Karen Tam, presenting an exhibition at the Museum in February 2023.
