The McCord’s Inside Stories presents a lecture in conjunction with Montreal Storefronts, the photography exhibition on McGill College Avenue. By examining the window displays and printed materials that make up commercial storefronts, researchers discovered consumer goods, people and anecdotes that tell stories of Montreal.

Speakers:

• Hélène Samson, PhD, is Curator, Photography, and has curated the McGill College Avenue exhibition since 2007.
• Nathalie Houle, MA, is an art historian and researcher who worked on the exhibitions Notman: A Visionary Photographer (2016-2017) and Montreal Storefronts (2018).
