As a citizen’s museum, the McCord Stewart Museum is committed to the integration of newcomers to Montréal. Since 2009, the Museum has offered dedicated programs especially designed for French-language immersion.
The Museum’s French-language immersion program aims to:
- strengthen learnings to consolidate the acquisition of new sociohistorical knowledge on the history of Montréal and Indigenous cultures;
- provide a space that fosters participation and intercultural exchanges by discussing historical and present-day topics.
THE McCORD MUSEUM’S FRENCH-IMMERSION PROGRAM IS EXPANDING!
In collaboration with the team of the Direction de la formation continue et aux entreprises at cégep du Vieux Montréal, the Education, Citizens and Cultural Action team is currently updating its offer.
