Photobook Club: Landscape and Politics

Artists and photography fans are invited to join this discussion on photography books that feature both landscapes and depictions that could be viewed from a political angle. This activity presented in collaboration with Photobook Club – Montréal asks participants to reflect on the representation, exploitation and appropriation of the land in photography books, and on the photographic practices of historical and contemporary artists.

To further the discussion, Photobook Club Montréal invites participants to bring books from their own collection that reflect their point of view.

An initiative of Jean-François Hamelin, Josée Schryer and Thomas Bouquin, founders of Photobook Club Montréal.
