Conditions | Clothing Swap

How to participate in the clothing swap?

Between 1 and 2:30 p.m., bring 1 to 10 fashion items you want to exchange. Shwap Club Montréal will look them over before putting them into circulation.

The items (1 to 10 maximum) you bring must meet the following criteria:

  • Women’s or non-gendered fashion*
  • In excellent condition and clean
  • For spring/summer
  • To modern taste
  • Items with an original price under $25 will not be accepted
  • Jewelry, underwear, socks, pyjamas, children’s/baby items and maternity clothes will not be accepted

How does the clothing swap work with Shwap Club Montréal?

  • Each accepted item qualifies for a credit
  • A credit entitles you to another item of your choice
  • Accepted items cannot be retrieved, while rejected items will be returned to their owner (accepted items will be placed on a hanger for immediate exchange. It will therefore not be possible to retrieve items that have been accepted.)
  • Unless you become a member of Shwap Club Montréal, all your credits must be spent at the McCord Stewart Museum.
