Young McCord Philanthropist

Active for over a decade, the Young McCord Philanthropist is a committee of young professionals from the business and entrepreneurial communities who work in collaboration with the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation to ensure the Museum’s outreach and continuity.

Goals

This committee brings together talented individuals from different backgrounds who are passionate about the social history of Montreal, Quebec and Canada and who support the educational, civic and cultural mission of the McCord Stewart Museum through a number of activities, including:

The organization of the Sugar Ball, a flamboyant fundraising event attended by more than 700 people
Networking activities
Fundraising activities to finance various initiatives

Benefits

Establishing close ties with the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation, members of the Young McCord Philanthropist Committee are invited to enjoy unique and enriching experiences, including:

Behind-the-scenes tours of the McCord Stewart Museum collections
Discovery workshops related to the exhibitions led by members of the cultural mediation team
Meetings between members of the Young McCord Philanthropist in the offices of corporate donors

Being a member of the Young McCord Philanthropist committee also allows you to develop your business network and become a Member of the Museum for the duration of your commitment.
