Sugar Ball
The Sugar Ball will return on November 13 at the St-James Theatre, a true gem of Old Montreal. This exceptional venue, where architectural grandeur meets timeless charm, provides a majestic setting for an elegant evening where history, music, and gourmet delights come together brilliantly.
For this 14th edition, step into The Portrait Studio. Enter the World of William Notman. Inspired by the celebrated Montreal photographer, this immersive evening invites guests to experience the artistry of portraiture through a unique setting where creativity, elegance, and history come to life. Get ready for an even more generous, flavourful, and unforgettable experience.

Now one of Montreal’s most sought-after fundraising events, the Sugar Ball brings together hundreds of young professionals in support of the McCord Stewart Museum and its educational programs. This fundraiser is an initiative of the Young McCord Philanthropist Committee, a dedicated and engaged group of nearly 20 members.
Program
- 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: VIP Networking Cocktail – A selection of gourmet partners will offer you a unique culinary and human experience, to be shared with 300 guests in an exclusive setting.
- 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.: Open bar, dance party with DJs, sweet table, midnight snack, and a ton of surprises… Stay tuned and follow us on Instagram!

Through its fundraising events, the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation adopts a local, sustainable, and responsible procurement approach.
