Journées de la culture – School Groups

J’aime les mots

Do you like memes? You’ll love J’aime les mots! The McCord Museum and Les Journées de la culture are inviting young Quebecers and Francophones to celebrate language and play with words.

When? The activity will take place from Friday, September 30, to Friday, October 28, 2022, all across the country!

How? By creating original memes based on over a hundred artworks straight from the collections of Canada’s major cultural institutions. Engravings, photos, paintings and artefacts of all kinds provide endless possibilities to play with.
