Major public art exhibition on Sherbrooke Street until October 29

La Balade pour la Paix, An Open-Air Museum
As part of Montréal’s 375th anniversary, Expo 67’s 50th anniversary and Canada’s 150th anniversary, La Balade de la Paix, An Open-Air Museum is a public art exhibition designed and organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in cooperation with the McCord Museum, with assistance from Concordia and McGill universities.
This major public art exhibition represents a full kilometre in length on Sherbrooke Street and features 67 works conveying a message of peace and openness, in keeping with the universal values of humanism, tolerance and openness that inspired Expo 67. From June 5 to October 29, 2017, come discover sculptures, photographs and installations created by world-renowned Canadian and foreign artists.
