The AgeTeQ Lab and the Arts and Health Axis of the Research Chair in the Creative Economy and Well-Being (CREAT), in partnership with the McCord Stewart Museum, invite you to an evening of shared knowledge and thoughtful exchange with Joey Partridge (Inuit singer), Simon Walls (composer), Ghislain Picard (Former Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador) and Corine Pelluchon (philosopher).

This unique gathering will offer a space for reflection on contemporary ecological issues and help us redefine our relationship to the living world.

Program

  • Knowledge sharing through Inuit art
    Joey Partridge and Simon Walls will premiere an original song that combines Inuit throat singing with pop music.
  • A conversation between Ghislain Picard and Corine Pelluchon on philosophy and Indigenous traditions
