Family workshop

From November 29 to December 13 | 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Family Workshop – Àdìr : Dye It Yourself

Free activity | No reservation required

Taking inspiration from the designs featured in Africa Fashion, families are invited to experiment with creating, comparing and assembling visual elements to make their own fashion model.

Participants will craft paper garments using àdìr, a traditional Nigerian indigo-resist dyeing technique. Join this hands-on activity to take a closer look at the details in the exhibited garments and use your imagination to design a unique fashion model.

Families will also be able to test their observation and deduction skills with a classic game of “Guess Who?”. Reimagined for Africa Fashion, this game will feature the exhibition’s textiles, accessories and designs.
