Their carefully made tools and garments\u00a0reveal the ingenuity of the Inuit and their way of life\u00a0in a harsh climate. They draw on their ancestors\u2019\u00a0knowledge while continuing to evolve in the modern\u00a0world. The shapes, designs and motifs they use\u00a0reaffirm, among other things, their ancestral beliefs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the workshop, students make a print inspired by Inuit engravings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><a class=\"download\" title=\"Wearing our identity \u2013 my activity kit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.musee-mccord-stewart.ca\/en\/wearing-our-identity-my-activity-kit\/\">Wearing our Identity &#8211; My Activity Kit<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><a class=\"download\" href=\"http:\/\/www.musee-mccord-stewart.ca\/app\/uploads\/2017\/09\/mccord-education-brochure-scolaire-en-reader.pdf\">Download the complete 2017-2018 educational activities program<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Before making your reservation, please prepare the following information:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The title of activity chosen;<\/li>\n<li>Three possible dates to facilitate the reservation process;<\/li>\n<li>Preferred time for your tour, the number of students\u00a0in your group, their grade level, and the language in which you would like the tour to be conducted;<\/li>\n<li>Complete contact information for your organization, including an email address to enable us to send you a tour confirmation notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After making your reservation, you will receive\u00a0confirmation by email. Please acknowledge receipt\u00a0to confirm the time of your visit and the number\u00a0of participants.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure the visit goes smoothly, set aside enough time for the cloakroom, snacks and washroom breaks.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, plan to have one accompanying adult for every 15 students. He or she will be admitted for free of charge.<\/p>\n<h4>Changes or cancellations<\/h4>\n<p>Unless you notify us of changes 48 hours before the\u00a0date of your activity, you will be charged for the number\u00a0of participants indicated in your reservation.<\/p>\n<h4>Method of payment<\/h4>\n<p>On the day of the activity, the person responsible\u00a0for the group is asked to proceed to the admissions\u00a0desk to settle payment. The total amount may be paid\u00a0via invoice or on site via cash or cheque.
