Would you like to share this interest with others?
If so, become a volunteer guide at the McCord Museum!
Volunteer guides act as guides, interpreters and educators.

Characteristics and skills:
- No previous experience required
- Candidates must be highly motivated and enthusiastic about acquiring and sharing knowledge
Duties of volunteer guides:
- Lead tours for groups of students and adults in French and/or English
- Represent the Museum and enhance the visitor experience during special events
You will receive:
- 50 hours of continuing education per year
- A Museum membership card
- Free admission to the Museum at any time
- Invitations to openings and numerous events organized by the Museum
- Exclusive invitations to presentations of new temporary exhibitions
- A 25% discount at the Museum Boutique
- A 15% discount at the Museum’s restaurant
