Would you like to share this interest with others?
If so, become a volunteer guide at the McCord Museum!

Volunteer guides act as guides, interpreters and educators.

Characteristics and skills:

  • No previous experience required
  • Candidates must be highly motivated and enthusiastic about acquiring and sharing knowledge

Duties of volunteer guides:

  • Lead tours for groups of students and adults in French and/or English
  • Represent the Museum and enhance the visitor experience during special events

You will receive:

  • 50 hours of continuing education per year
  • A Museum membership card
  • Free admission to the Museum at any time
  • Invitations to openings and numerous events organized by the Museum
  • Exclusive invitations to presentations of new temporary exhibitions
  • A 25% discount at the Museum Boutique
  • A 15% discount at the Museum’s restaurant
