Workshop: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission - McCord Museum

Citizens’ workshop

Call for Action: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission

Some current events touch, worry or upset us. They question our values and challenge us as citizens.

In 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission shed light on the residential school experience of Indigenous peoples and tabled a report with 93 recommendations. This citizens’ workshop, facilitated by a Museum cultural mediator, invites participants to think about individual and collective responsibilities during a discussion about these recommendations.

Duration: 60 minutes
